Bitcoin Wisdom #14:

Steve Jobs is often defined as a brilliant man who had amazing insights into the possible alternatives to traditional systems although, lets not forget he had an invaluable companion like Steve Wozniak. Their talent in producing visionary projects such as the personal computer and the iphone only serves to appreciate the power of collective effort towards a new idea. Their vision was driven by an appreciation towards the needs of its customers, as we can see reflected in their designs which give an ease of use for any kind of customer. Satoshi Nakamoto, the designer/s of Bitcoin has, in the same way, designed a system which values individuality and freedom over prevalent forms of control and extorsion. In the effort poured into Bitcoin it is very clear the aim was to provide a system of currency available to as many humans as possible without sacrificing liberty and individuality. Although, in this case, Satoshi Nakamoto did not provide an ease of use for the majority of it's current users, I believe that is the job of the global community to achieve. The promise of a powerful and permitionless currency system is enough to drive many developers into designing a more straightforward access into the Bitcoin blockchain and it is because of this that we will probably see in the future the next big tech giants being born out of this technology. In the same way Apple paved the way for other companies into advancing their technology or be left behind, Bitcoin is driving many traditional systems to adapt or be left behind. Only the future will show who prevails but my vote goes towards a future in which decentralization and freedom prevail over any other form of corrupt control.
Steve Jobs es habitualmente definido como un hombre brillante que tuvo asombrosos conceptos para posibles alternativas para los sistemas informáticos tradicionales aunque, no vayamos a olvidarnos que tuvo un compañero invaluable como Steve Wozniak. Sus talentos produciendo productos visionarios como el ordenador personal o el iphone solo sirve para apreciar el poder del esfuerzo común hacia una nueva idea. Su visión fue reforzada por una apreciación de las necesidades de sus clientes, como podemos ver reflejado en sus diseños que dieron facilidad de uso para muchísimos usuarios. Satoshi Nakamoto, el diseñador(o diseñadores) de Bitcoin ha conseguido, de la misma manera, diseñar un sistema que valora la individualidad y la libertad sobre los sistemas prevalentes de control y extorsión.En el esfuerzo vertido en Bitcoin es muy clara la visión de proveer de un sistema de monedas accesible para el mayor número de personas posible sin sacrificar libertad y individualidad. Aunque en este caso, Satoshi Nakamoto no produjo una moneda accesible en su estado actual para sus usuarios, siento que es la función de la comunidad global conseguirlo. La promesa de un sistema monetario poderoso y de libre acceso es suficiente para atraer a desarrolladores para disenar un sistema con más facilidad de uso para acceder a la blockchain y es gracias a esto que probablemente veamos en el futuro a los próximos gigantes tecnológicos formados por esta tecnologia. De la misma manera que Apple abrió camino para que muchas otras companias avanzacen su tecnologia o fueran quedandose obsoletas, Bitcoin está obligando a los sistemas monetarios tradicionales a adaptarse o a volverse obsoletos. Solo el futuro mostrará quien prevalecerá pero mi voto va hacia un futuro en el que la descentralización y la libertad prevalezcan frente a cualquier otro sistema de control corruptible.
