Although I think diversifying is a good idea, I wouldn't assume BTC will last a recession. It wasn't around during the last major one. Its value may absolutely tank. Gold and Silver will do well in a recession and definitely in a societal collapse. However, in a normal recession, certain bonds, mutual funds and securities also do well. Just remember if shit hits the fan, the only thing that is going to actually save you is guns and living space.

Good points there, Bitcoin is dependent on the internet and electricity being in place. Good to hear about the bonds, etc. Diversification is the ideal, for sure.

It is still good to have bitcoin for after the disaster passes your region, but people need to look at their local context and find out what worked during the past recessions and disasters. Chamces of all countrues failing at omce are low and pFor example clean water usually takes out people first
