Hello everyone today I wanted to talk about Jaxx!

I wanted to cover the following:

• What is Jaxx?
• Visit Jaxx.io
• Install Jaxx
• How to exchange Bitcoin for Dash

Jaxx is a blockchain interphase wallet. I'm gonna be covering the more about Jaxx on their website at Jaxx.io we are also going to be covering the installation of Jaxx and how you can exchange Bitcoin for Dash right in the wallet.

Visiting Jaxx.io

Here we are at the Jaxx main landing page here you can see everything Jaxx has to offer, they are a blockchain interface what does that mean exactly they support multiple currencies such as Bitcoin, Dash, Zcash, litecoin, Ether, Auger, Ether Classic, etc. to my knowledge Jaxx is constantly growing and adding more currencies in the future. Hence the grayed out circles in the corners.The Fox at the bottom is an Exchange know as Shapeshift, I will cover this later.

Jaxx likes to have their users in control meaning that it is a crisp user-friendly interaction. Permissionless access meaning that there is no user data so they don't know your name in your phone phone number if you have a Jaxx mobile wallet.

Continuing back on to the design for the user experience they want it to be very crisp user-friendly and smooth and operate at a phenomenal level. This is a strong focus in UX design!

Last but not least for all the techies out there, Jaxx provides some open source data for there older versions of the Jaxx wallet. Jaxx is currently operating on 1.2 and on their website they have 1.1.7 available.

Installing Jaxx

Now lets get into the nitty gritty of it, installing and setting up the Jaxx Wallet. I’m gonna be installing it on my Mac desktop. Download the DMG file and when it is finished downloading the Jaxx installer for your preferred operating system.

Double click the installer. Open the installer (as seen above) and drag over the Jaxx app icon to the application folder to copy it to your drive. Open the Jaxx app because Jaxx was just downloaded need to confirm that we went to open it.

Now we are going to start set up process for Jaxx 1.2. So I need to do is click continue and agree to their terms. (You can read the terms of service you would like!) click Accept, because this is the first time that we are installing a new wallet with Jaxx you're going to create a new one or if you can pair or restore previous ones that you have had in the past but this will require 12 word phrase to restore your wallet. We're going to create a new one so all we need to do is click continue express option and a custom option you can find out what each are based on a little information icon express obviously it is quickly as possible
custom select the option if you would like to customize your wallet you'll be able to select your wallet token and currency set up security pin and back up your wallet.

I can show you how to do this after we finish doing express setup.

So today with Jaxx 1.2 they support all of these coins and I believe RSK testnet is in beta right now. However, today we are going to just have a Bitcoin and Dash Digital Currency.

Now We are going to the main user interface of the Wallet, it can take a few moments. Here we go we have our fresh Bitcoin Address and or fresh address Dash address.

• Dash Addresses begin with an X
• Bitcoin addresses begin with a 1
  ** Just some friendly information :)

Now we can go deeper into the Wallet click in the top right corner you'll see a hamburger icon.

Here you will find Three Categories: Menu, Wallets, and Currency

Currensy is your countries dollar or your paper dollars so I'm in the United States are used to USD.
Wallets shows all the digital currencies that Jaxx currently supports and you can preferably go back later add additional digital currencies.

Menu we have tools, settings, help, bulletin, Jaxx about.

• Tools: you can set up a back up! Your backup phrase is a 12 key keyword passphrase and when viewing your passphrase I would highly recommend you write it down with a pen and paper and file it away. Display private keys in case its is the keys in order to pull coins off of that specific address. Pair device is when the wallet connects to another device with the same back up phrase or pairing code so you could have the Jaxx wallet on your phone Jaxx while you're on your desktop. Lastly, the transfer a paper wallet if you have a paper wallet you can request the private key typing it in from your paper wallet you can also for the checks settings and everything like that now we are actually going to send some coin into Dash directly with in the Jaxx Wallet.

• Settings: You can set up security pin this is for when you're wanting to send Dash or other digital currency will request for a pin before it sends out. Reset cache relink your wallet to the blockchain. Setting BTC mining fee The fee depends on the network difficulty and how many people are sending depends on how much each block is filling up. So if you keep normal selected which I would recommend just figure too much extra bitcoin out of your wallet compared to fast and low transaction fees are slow, sometimes with over 24 hours it just really depends on what is going on with the network at the time.

• Help: Easy access to FAQ that might come about when using Jaxx.

• Bulletin: is for public updates that they are working on.

• About Jaxx: gives you information and resources in order to help you with your Jaxx it has and FAQ section in order to make your wallet integration of smooth as possible.

Shape Shift

I just sent myself Bitcoin from another one of my wallets .01 to be exact and you can see how transaction history says unconfirmed you're waiting for the block chain you confirm that I sent a Coins from my other wallet to you and wanted to confirm that I will then show you how to shape shift all right everyone as you can see I have a one confirmation now and we are going to shape shift this .01 BTC and to call you need to do is click on the Fox and then this so-called will collapse and talk to you on how much you want to spend because I only have .01 the coin accommodating for the network fee for me to send the next one then I can I can't to you – so Max auto fill and sheep should BTC arrow to or you can drop down and select the digital currency you're looking to shoot shift so now all you need to do is click shift to shift confirmation .009 and I will receive .1411 Dash and it already accommodated for the mining fee, all you need to do is click confirm transaction sent and now I can go to Dash. ShapeShift will take a fee but it will depend on the demand.

My experience with shape shift hasn't been too bad I have experienced approximately 30 minutes maximum, it just depends on how much traffic at the sheet sheet shift service is in during the time we spend I have received my dash to sheep shit depending on how much traffic at the sheet shape shift service is in during the time I have received my dash through Shapeshift.
