Bitcoin's Bitcomin Diamond Bitcoin Diamond took place today. Bitcoin's

next hard-core hit was successful, as a result of which we received another division - Bitcoin Diamond, whose creators preferred to remain anonymous. This is reported in the official Twitter account of the project.

After bitcoin-miners reached 495866 block, a new Bitcoin Diamond (ticker BCD) was born , and it is already supported by 28 exchanges, including huobi.pro , CEX.com and others.

The Coinsutra website notes that BCD is not designed to create competition with the original Bitcoin. Increased by 10 times the maximum volume of emissions and another mining algorithm - this is how it differs from BTC.

In addition to the benefits of BitcoinDiamond can include improved privacy protection based on the original functions of BTC, increasing the speed of generating blocks and the speed of transaction confirmation. In addition, the network BCD implemented protection against replay attacks and added support for SegWit.

While Bitcoin Diamond does not have a page on GitHub, however, the creators promised to place the code in open access after the hardcore.
