Bismuth Badge Tool

What does this tool do?

Show your Bismuth balance on an image badge which automatically updates when the balance changes. You can use this badge on dynamic and on static websites.

Source code of the tool is open source

You can install this script on your own web server. The only requirements for this script to run is php, gd and freetype.

Workflow of the script

  • the script will take a single "address" get parameter as input
  • query the Bismuth WebAPI, "Balance" endpoint
  • images will be cached on disk for 10 minutes to avoid cpu load
  • we will prepend the Bismuth logo
