Happy Birthday to Srila Prabhupada- a great personality and Founder of ISKCON-Hare Krishna Movement.

Today is Srila Prabhupada's 122nd birthday. He is the founder of Hare Krishna movement. He built 108 Temples all round the world and made thousands of followers.Upon his birth, the Astrologer pridicted that he will become a great personality and will establish 108 temples that became a reality. Hundreds and thousands of the people are still following his teachings based on Indian Scriptures and he went to America to preach about God with only INR 40 at the age of 70. On his journey in a cargo ship, which took around 40 days to reach America from India, he got 3 heart attacks, still he continued and reached his destination. In just 11 years he travelled 14 times around the world and built 108 ISKCON temples.He never wanted name and fame, so named his temples ISKCON - the full form is International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Now we have temples in almost all the countries. These are his achievements and and offering to his spiritual Master Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati. He made hippies to happy.
