🔶The Baikal bullfinch (Pyrrhula pyrrhula cineracea), also known as the grey bullfinch, grey-headed bullfinch or great bullfinch
As you might guess from his name, this species of bullfinch lives in the territory of Siberia. It is unclear why he was named exactly Baikal, because the distribution area covers all of Siberia.
What surprised me about these birds is that they themselves flew close to me and were not afraid of me. Yes, I forgot to say, there were two of them, two males. I saw them from afar, and in fact, they me too. But they purposefully flew in my direction, because next to me there was a bush on which the buds were just beginning to swell.
They jumped on the branches and ate these buds, periodically barely audibly calling each other so as not to get lost.
