👉The common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis), also known as the Eurasian kingfisher and river kingfisher

Oh, I remember very well this day when I met and was able to get to know this wonderful bird better.
Most Siberian birds are not brightly colored, and mostly gray or brown in order to be as invisible as possible. And against their background, this bird stands out very much for its beauty and incredible brightness, it even seems that she came from somewhere in the tropics.
I remember the first time I caught a glimpse of this bird flying over the water, and then I saw it from afar. The next time I went, so to speak, to investigate whether this bird really lives in this area. And yes, I saw her again, but I could not get close. And then the next time I purposefully went hunting for this bird. I climbed the hill, from where there was a good view of the lake and river, and looked out. And I saw that this kingfisher was fishing on the lake.
I went down and ran to the lake, as soon as I approached the vegetation surrounding and hiding this lake, I, bending down like a scout or a sniper, began to silently move deeper into the dense vegetation. And as soon as I reached the turn, my object of observation flew out of the bushes! I slowly raised the camera and began to shoot this incredibly beautiful bird, being afraid to move and breathe loudly so as not to frighten him off. He of course found me by the sounds of the shutter clicking, but he was not frightened and just sat there. Most likely, he just caught and swallowed a large fish, so it was difficult and reluctant for him to move.
