✔️The European goldfinch or simply the goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis)

Now, at the end of July, is the time to watch these colorful birds.
In spring, they can be seen on melting snow and thawed plots of land. In such places they look for old seeds. In summer, they become very secretive and live in the tops of trees, almost never going down. And only at the end of July, when the nestlings grow and the thistle and burdock ripen, do they sit on these plants in small family flocks to feast on seeds.
At these moments, this birds do not behave very carefully, and sometimes do not notice the danger, or are so passionate about their favorite delicacy that they cannot tear themselves away.
