The European stonechat (Saxicola rubicola)

These birds can be found only in open spaces. More precisely, in meadows, fields, and even on the edges of forests. They live in small thickets and tall grass, and like to climb to the top of plants and sit to watch. In the spring they are very careful and shy, but in the summer they can be seen without problems from a close distance.
This male hid in the midst of thickets, because a predator flew past.

The hen harrier (Circus cyaneus)

And here is that predator. He appears in this place where I found him, every year in July. This predator feeds on almost all rodents, and sometimes lizards. But the birds do not know about it, so they are still afraid of him.

Правильно, что птицы прячутся. Кто знает, что на уме у этого хищника. Может и съесть эту маленькую птичку.
