The long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit (Aegithalos caudatus)
In the 19th century, in Russia, this delightful bird was called something like "Little Apollies, Apollo", as she was considered one of the most beautiful birds. And it's hard to argue with that!
There are several subspecies of these wonderful birds. They differ, first of all, in the appearance of the head and muzzle.
In Siberia, as well as in the east, the so-called “northern” subspecies lives, that is, with a completely white head and muzzle.
They are very calm and friendly birds. They never quarrel with other species. And they are active participants in mixed bird flocks. They are never alone, they always live in family flocks or in pairs.
