The grey heron (Ardea cinerea)
Well, I have no luck with photos of herons! I can’t manage to take a close-up picture of them in any way. Photos are taken either from afar or in flight.
If last time a fisherman on a boat frightened off a heron, then this time, hooded crows attacked a heron and drove them out of their territory.
The shyness of a heron is easily explained by their size. Big birds are harder to take off from the ground, so they are so cautious.
