The fieldfare (Turdus pilaris)

As I promised earlier, the post will be about the nesting of thrushes.
Near my favorite forest there is a peak-reserve boiler house, and a little further, in the forest, there is an electrical substation. It's very noisy, coming closer you can hear the noise of electricity. The territory, of course, is fenced for security reasons.
And what do you think? Right there, in this territory, right in the most dangerous place thrushes created a nest! How can this be??? Should not birds build nests in secluded, hidden and safe places? Just look at this thrush female! She feels quite confident. It blew my brain! Birds, where is your logic?

While I walked around near the fence and watched all this, the other thrushes (of different species) grunted angrily, tried to drive me away. But suddenly a gray crow appeared. And then they were finally angry, and unlike me, they began to attack the crow. Crows are famous for the fact that ravage the nest and eat eggs. There was a violent confrontation, thrushes furiously attacked the unexpected guest. At this time, I walked around the fence and went further, deciding to walk to the cliff to the river.
After 20 minutes I returned on the same road, and ... What the??? There is not this nest!!! Empty place! What happened? Is it possible that over the past 20 minutes the crow has managed to destroy the nest and eat eggs? And where are the twigs and the remaining traces of the nest then? How is this possible? As if nothing was here!
Or, thrushes, realizing that their nest found quickly destroyed it? Oh ... so many questions.
