Cooper's Hawk. Cooper's Hawks are found throughout the US and go by many names including chicken hawk, striker, and big blue darter. Cooper's Hawks prey almost exclusively on other birds. This particular hawk was ruffled and wet but has been on this lamp post the last couple of mornings so I'm hoping for a better picture soon.
