Here are some recent photos I took of one of my favorite birds and photography subjects, Elegant Terns:

First a nice bird in flight:

Next, a group of roosting terns, some younger birds with yellower bills, and some with brighter orange bills:

Finally, a couple terns coming in to land in the water with their bathing buddies:

Nice. Especially the third shot. They are very similar to our Crested Terns, Thalasseus bergii.
