Wild birds having a feast - an update
It's been a busy week in the garden. The photo below shows you the new bird food mini log I made on Thursday and a robin checking it out.
The birds had finished the second bird food log by Tuesday. It was particularly popular with the woodpecker.
Robins and the usual blue tits have been visiting and pecking at the new food log.
This week black birds and even a hare have also been spotted near this area. I guess the extra bird population must attract other animals too.
All my photos are taken from a distance through the kitchen window and using a Canon 40X camera.
Thank you for reading.
We have a couple of robins come and visit our garden, it's amazing how friendly and almost fearless they are, coming to sit next to me. It's believed that robins contain the spirit of a loved one coming to visit which is a nice sentiment.
Thank you for visiting, @the-gorilla.
Yes, it is a very nice sentiment ! Robins are also supposed to be territorial so I'm keen to check if that's true.
