I'm shocked! The bald crow

in #birds7 years ago (edited)

This crow came to us today. Bald, with avitaminosis and completely wild: ( It was picked up by a woman 7 months ago, the crow had a wing broken, the woman healed it, but then something went wrong.) Apparently, the woman did not cope and the crow spent 7 months in a box covered with grille.

I hope that the sun, fresh air and good food will help the crows regain plumage.

Unfortunately, people want to help, but they do not have enough knowledge and skills. Then we get the birds in very poor condition :(

This is soreprendente I had never seen anything like it, I never saw a crow in captivity actually, I share with what you say "Unfortunately, people want to help, but they do not have enough knowledge and skills. People want to help but ignoring the issues make the situation worse, congratulations @ animal-shelter for the great work that you and your team do in the recovery of animals

It is a sad but common case. As you mention, people want to help...perhaps somehow distributing leaflets about your sanctuary and that you will take injured creatures may help.
Many people are not aware that they they can call Sanctuaries like yourselves for advice.
Leaving leaflets in shops etc, or even asking local schools if you can give a little talk and maybe bring along an animal or two to explain responsibility could help enormously. 😀

We do it. There also were several TV programs about family shelters in our country. We try to teach people how to help birds and animals.

Oh my God! Poor bird:(

Yes:( I think it feels terrible:(

Such amazing creatures and very resilient, with proper care I am sure he will bounce back.

We home it'll be ok soon

I'm glad it is with you now.

We'll do our best for it :)
