Eurasian Treecreeper or Short-toed treecreeper
Today I have to admit that I am not able to determine the correct bird species, because the two species (European Treecreeper and Short-toed treecreeper) look really very similar and there are only a few things to distinguish these two birds. (Maybe @ratel can help me with the determination). But still I was very happy to finally take some pictures of this beautiful bird. It is not so easy to spot because it is running up and down the trees and doesn't fly a lot. It is a pretty common bird and there are still a lot of them around, but they are not so easy to spot because they have a pretty good camouflage on their feathers.

Because the population trends of both the "Eurasian Treecreeper" as well as the "Short-toed Treecreeper" are relatively stable and do not show a decline these birds are classified as "Lest Concern". I hope I will be able to see it also in the future very often. Since now, I also pay attention to camouflage colors and minor movements I might find it more often. I think it is a really cute and funny bird that doesn't fly very oft but can often be seen creeping up and down on trees.
