this is a spotted dove, in Indonesian (tekukur) and in aceh this bird is called by the name of the bird (beurujuk) this bird is a kind of small dove that has a beak, a rather long tail, is warm-blooded, and reproduces by laying eggs. Medium sized body (30 cm). The color is reddish brown. This bird's tail looks long. Outer tail feathers with a thick white border. Wing feathers are darker than the body. There are distinctive black and white patches on the neck. Orange iris, black beak, red legs. Live close to humans. Foraging on the ground. Often sit in pairs in the open. When disturbed, flies low to ground level, with slow wing beats. This bird eats millet, green beans, black sticky rice, grain, cuttlefish bones and corn. This bird looks for food on the ground. Often sat in pairs on an open road. When disturbed, flies low above the ground with a characteristic slow flapping of wings.
