Great post @eco-alex ! Glad to have you here in the community :D I've been wondering sometime of why we don't start using DNA as the primary storage for computer and internet data. Especially now when there is so much talk about if we can handle the quantum computer development because there is not to much space to store that date.. Don't you think that should be a possibility, I mean, to store it in DNA?
yup absolutely.. DNA is the perfect data storage.. i think its just a matter of time.. Not only is DNA amazing as storing information safely, it can also replicate itself for backups and even verify itself.. its totally perfect.. nothing else really comes close right now as a real viable option.. These developments will take time though, perhaps 100 years or more!
Oh damn it 100 years more to go... Oh well, hopefully we might be still alive he he!
at least in a different body maybe ;-)
