But you get to your first semester and SYNTAX ERROR, in biology there are math classes, because they are essential for population dynamics and other statistical calculations. They are also very important to understand complex biological mechanisms with mathematical models such as chaos theory.

Limits, exponential growth and decrease, derivatives, integrals, among other topics will be necessary, especially in the marine environment where factors as simple as waves, pH, pressure and depth play such an important role.

It is normal to worry, during the school years many teachers tend to make this subject a headache for some students so many drag this fear to the university, almost as if it were a trauma, and due to this "fear" can reach demotivate a lot.

Personally, mathematics is not my favorite subject, I get bored a bit but I usually learn it quickly, even when I was a child the same thing happened to me, so I try to understand them and continue my career.

When I arrived I admit I was a little nervous but I had a good teacher who helped me with all my doubts. So, I'm currently in Mathematics II classes (trying to survive the integrals).

Pero llegas a tu primer semestre y SYNTAX ERROR, en biología si hay clases de matemáticas, pues resulta que son esenciales para dinámicas de poblaciones y otros calculos estadisticos.También son de suma importancia para entender mecanismos complejos biológicos con modelos matematicos como la teoría del caos.

Limites, crecimiento y decrecimiento exponencial, derivadas, integrales, entre otros temas serán necesarios, especialmente en el ambito marino donde factores tan simples como el oleaje, el pH, la presión y la profundidad juegan un papel tan importante.

Es normal preocuparse, durante los años del colegio muchos profesores tienden a volver esta materia un dolor de cabeza para algunos estudiantes así que muchos arrastran este temor hasta la universidad, casi como si fuera un trauma, y debido a este "miedo" pueden llegar a desmotivarse bastante.

En lo personal las matemáticas no son mi materia favorita, me aburren un poco pero suelo aprenderlas rapidamente, incluso cuando era un niño me ocurría lo mismo así que me esfuerzo por entenderlas y continuar con mi carrera.

Cuando llegué admito que estaba un poco nervioso pero tuve una buena profesora que me ayudó con todas mis dudas. Asi que, actualmente estoy en clases de Matemática II (tratando de sobrevivir a las integrales).
