Be careful with Nootropics if you have HPPD, the results might be irreversible. Piracetam is getting a bad rap in the HPPD community because of the damage it can do.
I have read that it could exasperate HPPD. I would think that if you have something like HPPD you would want to see a doctor before messing with anything neurologically related. Scary stuff, hallucinogens.
Some of us are unwilling to admit that we have HPPD in the real world and the idea that Nootropics might help to repair some of neurons in the brain can be rather tempting, which can lead to unwanted side effects.
I felt it was important to warn people because you really have to search google to find the handful of articles that even mention that Piracetam can make HPPD worse.
