the old musicians blog is up to 20 now and it's probably high time I try to explain this if not to anyone else at least to myself. How the heck did I get started doing this and why? Do I intend to keep going? Well yes I'm going to keep going for a while longer at least up to a hundred that's my objective a hundred blocks in a hundred days and then perhaps all reevaluate.

I started doing this on a whim because steemit flag me when I was reposting other people's content thinking that it was just the same as other social media well that was not the case. On once that happened it sent me off on us that have creative Jag like playing the social media game as though it were a video game that I could get good at overtime. In a way that didn't really suit me though because it's one of those things that I just don't much like jumping through the Hoops that other people make and at least like to think that I'm creating my own hopes jump through.

Though I have to say I did meet some interesting people on steemit and hope to keep in contact with them over time and as a Content creating platform it is surely very interesting. But the idea of sort of winning a popularity contest or hiring some Bots to get enough money so that you can live in travel and post on steemit, well that was kind of lost on me after a while and I find it a little boring.

The creative aspect of my own invention at the same time was really interesting to me that it had stimulated me to doing these new things. And then I found dtube and I thought well let's try you know making some kind of musicians blog especially since I'm an old musician and see where that goes. Well at first it was kind of like everybody else I'll try to see if I can explain something or show something, and then I kind of realize that I'm kind of in a different space with the whole thing and I'm not trying to be a teacher in fact I'm kind of allergic to teachers and we're just as well stay that way.

And more and more I've come to the realization belief way of thinking, that one's social media and internet presence generally one's presents on the network is representational of one's personality in general and can be considered a meta personality to the physical self to the biological self made out of atoms and molecules and cells instead of bits and bytes and gigs and data information.

The creation of a meta self well that is interesting in itself. The waste that occurs when people die and we lose their skills and information is tragic both for society and the individual. Someday it may be so that we can store all of this or keep the physical body going biology is moving so fast in this direction life extension is bound to happen.

But meanwhile for those of us who can't wait there is still the internet and the network and our interface of personality and identity with it. So it seems sane to embark on a quest to provide a meta personality of self and so provide a way of maintaining through the generations some form of creative thinking and speculative identity.
