Leona Vicario
María de la Soledad Leona Camila Vicario Fernández de San Salvador, más conocida como Leona Vicario (Ciudad de México, 10 de abril de 1789–Ciudad de México, 21 de agosto de 1842), fue una de las figuras más destacadas de la Guerra de Independencia de México donde se dedicó a informar a los insurgentes de todos los movimientos que podían interesarles y que ocurrían en la capital del virreinato.2 Miembro de Los Guadalupes, financió con su propia fortuna la insurgencia.3 Fue una de las primeras mujeres periodistas de México. Se enfrentó a numerosos riesgos por impulsar el feminismo, la cultura y la ideología libertaria.
