QUE ES UN BIODIGESTOR? Es un recipiente o tanque (cerrado herméticamente) que se carga con residuos orgánicos. En su interior se produce la descomposición de la materia orgánica para generar biogás, el cual puede reemplazar o complementar al gas natural (de cilindros o el gas natural).
El residuo, luego de ser descompuesto y estabilizado, se utiliza como biofertilizante.
El biodigestor puede ser construido con diversos materiales como ladrillo, cemento, metal o plástico.
El biodigestor es una forma barata y fácil para la producción de energía, la misma tiene gran potencial para ser desarrollada y utilizada ampliamente a nivel rural.
