Actually I did not verify my account @creativetruth. I did not find it necessary at that time. I use Kraken to deposit and withdraw money/cryptocurrency to my bank account. However I am verified on Kraken. Time has changed and now you can (if you dont care about the fees, probably deposit and withdraw money directly).

Binance has a great customer service which have help me a couple of times. Once I lost my two-factor authentication (my phone) and they helped me gain access to my account.
