My First movie shoot

I am starting to dig this whole acting business for real o. Today was absolutely amazing as i got my first chance to be part of a movie crew. Well it was a small crew for two very short movies, or should i say skits.I might have a future in the movie industry afterall lol.
It was so fun and really "horizon expanding". The story lines were short but very impactful and it actualy got me thinking at some point.
The first story...
is about a couple who are about 4 years into their marraige and are always having fights and arguments. A day came and they both get in a fight as usual and the lady throws her wedding ring at her husband, indicating that she was tired of the marraige.The husband out of concern invites his pastor to to help quell the situation and while the pastor was talking she noticed they both were not wearing their wedding rings and asked why, the man was quick to throw the wife under the bus talking about how she had thrown the ring at him while he had his own ring in his pocket. The pastor asked that both rings be handed to her and then she took the only bible they had in the house and admonished them from Joshua 1 vs 8. She emphasized that the success of any marraige was hinged on the both parties studying the word of God and praying together everyday. Then she put the rings in the bible, unknown to the couples, and returned the bible. For two weeks the couple searched for their ring with luck and so they went to ask the pastor if she had accidentally taken the rings with her. The pastor expressed her shock and disbelief that they had not read or opened their bible in 2 weeks. She remphasized that couples need to study the word of God and pray togther, that it gives them the chance to understand each other more.....

Well that is the first story...

The second story was much shorter and went thus....
A daughter comes in after doing alot if chores and meets her dad sitting in the parlor with some cookies on the table in front of him. She sits with him and they talk for a while and the younger daughter comes in from a party she went out to and asks the dad for a cookie which he asked her to take, she eats it and asks for another and the dad obliged, she eats it and askes for another and the dad lets her take again, at this point the elder daughter flares up and accuses the dad of loving the younger one more than her. That she had been at home doing all the chores and he didn't even offer her a cookie and the younger one just came it and he gave her everything. He explains that the reason he gave the younger one was because she asked and she did not as with other things she had wanted but had not asked for. The elder one argued that she had asked for something long ago and he had not given her till now and he further explained that the day she had asked for it he had procured it but she wasn't ready for it yet which is why he had not given her. That there were things she had not asked for that he had given her because he knew she needed them at the time but then again all she needed to do was to ask.
The Moral of this story was hinged on the bible verse that said

Ask and you will recieve, seek and you will find, Knock and the door will be open to you.

Meaning that sometimes it seems God has abandoned us or that he no longer cares about us but it is only because we fail to ask. Yes, he knows all our needs even before we know we need them he still requires us to ask. That God will not give us that which will harm us rather

The gifts of God maketh rich and adds no sorrow

Both very powerful lessons we all need to learn.
