Locust - Big Fat n Nasty - In Original Night Photography #31
Locust
Locusts can cause severe damaged to crops , this is an example how a Locust looks like, very similar to Grasshopper. Locusts can exist in two different behavioural states (solitary and gregarious)
This one, is one Big Fat n Nasty. I am starting a new Series call Big N Nasty, will be still in my #insects photography series.
Look at it , it looks so funny. Like so Serious Type Creature, It looks like one that wearing a Goggle, maybe it is a Nerd trying to be funny
Could it be a decedent of an ALIEN?

You know what's funny is that ever since I moved to Florida I have been increasingly fascinated with bug photography. These are some great shots. It was so nice of the locust to pose for you. :)
Thanks @merej99
Yes, I many more in different colors. They are about 28 mm or just over and inch in length.
They are quite noisy, I'm not a big fan. Lol.
I didn't know they are noisy.
But have seen swarm of them. Can also cause a lot damages to the cars.
Very good photos!
Thank you, kindly
I've always wonder if locust have any relation to grasshoppers.
