Dr Jill, the real villain.

Obviously, the GOP nominee is gonna demonize the Dem nominee, and the Dem nominee is gonna demonize the GOP nominee. Understandably, most people really dislike or even hate one or both of these men by now.

But at this point in the storyline, I think we can all agree that the real villain of the saga is Dr. Jill. Anyone who has been married for a significant amount of time has had their ups and downs, their trials, tribulations, and fights. But I can't even comprehend the absolute heartlessness it takes to do this to somebody you supposedly love even on the hardest days.

Elder abuse isn't too harsh a term at all, and I can't believe someone has literally made me sympathetic to Joe. What she's doing is bad for the country, her husband, his legacy, and whatever dignity he has left... and the fact she's his wife makes it that much more tragic. It makes me sad because despite all he's done, he's still a human being that deserves love and dignity as he fades from this life, and she's robbing him of both.
