"Why were you looking for me? Do you not know that it was fitting for me to be in my Father's house?" Luke 2:49

According to the Bible, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, of a noble lineage, dating back to Abraham.

However, when Jesus was born, Mary had to wrap her child in swaddling clothes and lay him in a manger, because there was no room in the lodges. Joseph and Mary were on their way to register themselves for census purposes on the command of Augustus Caesar when Jesus was born.

While Jesus was in the manger, it happened so that outside of the manger, shepherds, who were keeping watch over their flock, were approach by an Angel giving them the gladtidings of a Saviour who had been born in their city.

After eight days, when the child was circumcised, he was named Jesus.

Unfortunately, Jesus's life was in immediate danger because of King Herod's plans to kill the child. Herod was troubled by the birth of Jesus, the Saviour. Fortunately, with Divine help, in a dream, Joseph was told to take his family and flee to Egypt. The family ended up staying in Egypt until the death of King Herod. And, after the death of King Herod, an Angel appeared to Joseph, again, informing him to take his family and move to land of Israel. Joseph, however, feared Herod's son, so, he carefully settled his family in Nazareth.

Jesus was a very spiritual young boy: the Grace of God was upon him. Jesus and this family used to go to Jerusalem every year for Passover.

When he was twelve, after the days of Passover were finished, Jesus had remained behind in the Temple, while his family, not knowing he was not with them, journeyed back towards Nazareth. When his family realized that he was not with them, they all returned to Jerusalem.

After three days of searching, they finally found him in the Temple, sitting among teachers. His mother asked Jesus why he had separated himself from them for they were anxious. He said to them, "Why were you looking for me? Do you not know that it was fitting for me to be in my Father's house?"

Despite his mother not understanding her child's words, she still kept his words very dear to herself.

When Jesus was with the teachers, he was not only hearing them, but also asking them questions. The teachers were astonished by his understanding and his answers. As the years went by, Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, all in favour of God and mankind

and He did it again...

Hi @liondani!

Could you kindly elaborate what you mean here?

He separated Himself from them for three days because He died on the cross ...

O my! Yes! Wow. Nice catch. Thank you for sharing that!
