Romans 12:1~13:14

그러므로 형제들이여, 내가 하나님의 자비하심으로 여러분에게 권합니다. 여러분의 몸을 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산제물로 드리십시오. 이것이 여러분이 드릴 영적 예배입니다.
여러분은 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하십시오.
나는 내게 주신 은혜를 힘입어 여러분 각 사람에게 말합니다. 여러분은 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 말고 오직 하나님께서 각 사람에게 나눠주신 믿음의 분량대로 분수에 맞게 생각하십시오.
우리가 한 몸에 많은 지체를가졌으나 모든지체가 같은 기능을 하는 것이 아닙니다. 이와 같이 우리 많은 사람들도 그리스도 안에서 한 몸을 이루었고 각 사람은 서로 지체가 됐습니다.
우리는 우리에게 주신 은헤를 따라 서로 다른 은사를 갖고 있습니다. 만일 예언이면 믿음의 분량대로, 섬기는 일이면 섬기는 일로, 가르치는 사람이면 가르치는 일로, 권면하는 사람은 권면하는 일로, 구제하는 사람은 순수한 마음으로, 지도하는 사람은 부지런함으로, 긍휼을 베푸는 사람은 기쁜 마음으로 해야 합니다.
사랑에는 거짓이 없어야 합니다. 악한 것을 미워하고 선한 것을 붙드십시오. 형제의 사랑으로 서로 사랑하고 서로 먼저 존경하며 열심을 내 일하고 성령으로 뜨거워진 마음으로 주를 섬기십시오. 소망 가운데 기뻐하고 환난 가운데 참으며 기도를 항상 힘쓰십시오. 성도들의 쓸 것을 공급하고 나그네를 대접하는 일을 힘쓰십시오. 여러분을 핍박하는 사람들을 축복하십시오. 축복하고 저주하지 마십시오.
기뻐하는 사람들과 함께 기뻐하고 우는 사람들과 함께 우십시오. 서로 마음을 같이하고 교만한 마음을 품지 말며 오히려 비천한 사람들과 사귀고 스스로 지혜 있는 체 마십시오. 아무도 악을 악으로 갚지 말고 모든 사람 앞에서 선한 일을 힘써 행하십시오. 여러분이 할 수만 있으면 모든 사람들과 평화롭게 지내십시오.
사랑하는 형제들이여, 여러분이 스스로 원수를 갚지 말고 하나님의 진노하심에 맡기십시오. 기록되기를 "원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚아 주겠다" 라고 주께서 말씀하십니다. "네 원수가 굶주려 있으면 먹이고 목말라 하면 마실 것을 주어라. 이로써 네가 그의 머리 위에 숯불을 쌓을 것이다."
악에 지지 말고 선으로 악을 이기십시오.

각 사람은 위에 있는 권세들에 복종하십시오. 무슨 권세든 하나님께로부터 오지 않은 것이 없고 이미 있는 권세는 다 하나님께서 세우신 것입니다. 따라서 권세에 대항하는 사람은 하나님의 명을 거역하는 것이니 거역하는 사람들은 심판은 자초할 것입니다.
통치자에 대해서는, 선한 일 때문에 두려워할 것이 없고 악한 일 때문에 두려움의 대상이 됩니다. 권세자를 두려워하지 않기를 원합니까? 선을 행하십시오. 그러면 그에게 칭찬을 받을 것입니다. 그는 여러분에게 선을 이루기 위해 일하는 하나님의 일꾼입니다. 그러나 여러분이 악을 행한다면 두려워하십시오. 그는 공연히 칼을 가진 것이 아닙니다. 그는 하나님의 일꾼으로서 악을 행는 사람에게 하나님의 진노를 집행하는 사람입니다. 그러므로 복종해야 할 필요가 있으니 진노 때문이 아니라 양심을 위해서도 복종해야 합니다.
여러분이 조세를 바치는 것도 바로 이 때문입니다. 그들은 하나님의 일꾼들로서 바로 이 일에 항상 힘쓰고 있습니다. 여러분은 모든 사람에게 의무를 다하십시오. 조세를 바쳐야 할 사람에게 조세를 바치고 관세를 바쳐야 할 사람에게 관세를 바치고 두려워해야 할 사람을 두려워하고 존경해야 할 사람을 존경하십시오.
서로 사랑하는 것 외에는 누구든지 아무 빚도 지지 마십시오. 남을 사랑하는 사람은 율법을 다 이루었습니다.
"간음하지 말라, 살인하지 말라, 도둑질하지 말라, 탐내지 말라"고 하는 계명과 그 밖에 다른 게명이 있을 지라도 이 모든 게명들은 "네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라" 고 하는 이 말씀 가운데 다 요약돼 있습니다.
사랑은 이웃에게 악을 행하지 않습니다. 그러므로 사랑은 율법의 완성입니다.
여러분이 이 시기를 알고 있는 것처럼 벌써 잠에서 깨어야 할 때가 됐습니다. 이제 우리의 구원이 처음 믿을 때보다 가까이 왔기 때문입니다. 밤이 깊고 낮이 가까이 왔습니다. 그러므로 어두움의 일들을 벗어 버리고 빛의 갑옷을 입읍시다. 낮에 행동하듯이 단정하게 행동합시다. 방탕하거나 술 취하지 말고 음란과 호색하지 말며 다투거나 시기하지 말고 오직 주 예수 그리스도로 옷 입고 정욕을 채우려고 육신의 일을 애쓰지 마십시오.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 [Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 [Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore [ye] must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute [is due]; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law. 11 And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to [fulfil] the lusts [thereof].
