Psalms 1:1~3:8

복이 있는 사람은 악한 사람들의 꾀를 따라가지 않고 죄인들의 길에 서지 않으며 남을 업신여기는 사람들과 자리를 함께하지 않고 오직 여호와의 율법을 즐거워하고 그 율법을 밤낮으로 깊이 생각하는 자로다
그는 시냇가에 심은 나무가 게절에 따라 열매를 맺고 그 잎이 시들지 않는 것처럼 하는 일마다 모두 잘되리라. 악인은 그렇지 않으니 그저 바람에 날려가는 겨와 같도다. 그러므로 악인들은 심판을 견디지 못하며 죄인들은 의인의 모임에 참석하지 못하리라. 의인의 길은 여호와께서 보호하시나 악인의 길은 망ㅎ하리라.

어째서 나라들이 술렁거리며 민족들이 헛된 일을 꾀하는가? 세상의 왕들이 자기를 내세우고 통치자들이 모여 여호와의 그 기름 부음 받은 이를 거르스며 "저들의 사슬을 끊자, 저들의 족쇄를 던져 버리자"하는구나. 하늘에 앉으신 분이 웃으시며 꾸짖고 그들으 ㄹ놀라게 하시며 "내가 내 왕을 거룩한 산 시온에 세웠노라" 하시리라. 내가 이제 여호와의 율례를 선포하리라. 그 분께서 말씀하셨도다. "너는 내 아들이다. 내가 오늘 너를 낳았노라"
내게 구하여라. 그러면 내가 이방 민족들을 네게 기업으로 주어 온 세상이 네 소유가 되게 하리라. 너는 그들을 쇠지팡이로 다스리며 토기장이가 자기 그릇을 부숴 버리듯 그들을 부수리라." 그러므로 너희 왕들아, 지혜를 가지라. 너희 세상 통치자들아, 경고를 들으라. 여호와를 경외하며 섬기고 떨며 환호하라. 그분의 아들께 입을 맞추라. 그렇지 않으면 그분이 진노하셔서 가는 길에 네가 멸망하리니 그 진노는 급하시리라. 그러나 여호와를 의지하는 사람은 모두 복이 있도다.

여호와여, 내게는 적들이 어찌 이리 많습니까! 나를 거스르고 맞서는 사람이 많습니다. 많은 사람들이 나를 두고 "그는 하나님께 구원을 얻지 못한다"라고 말합니다.(셀라) 그러나 여호와여, 주는 내 방패이시며 내 영광이시며 내 머리를 드시는 분이니 내가 여호와께 큰 소리로 부르짖을때 주의 거룩한 산에서 내게 반드시 응답해 주십니다.(셀라)
내가 누워 잠들었다 깨어나는 것은 여호와께서 나를 붙드시는 것이니 수많은 사람들이 나를 거슬러 둘러싼다 해도 내가 두려워하지 않겠습니다. 여호와여, 일어나소서! 내 하나님이여, 나를 건지소서! 주께서 내 모든 원수들의 턱을 치시고 악인들의 이를 부숴 주소서! 구원이 여호와께 있사오니 주의 백성에게 복은 내리소서.(셀라)

1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, [saying], 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. 6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou [art] my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession. 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. 10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.
1 {A Psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son.} LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many [are] they that rise up against me. 2 Many [there be] which say of my soul, [There is] no help for him in God. Selah. 3 But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. 6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set [themselves] against me round about. 7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies [upon] the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. 8 Salvation [belongeth] unto the LORD: thy blessing [is] upon thy people.
