RE: What Does the Bible Say About the Shape of the Earth? Part 2

in #bible6 years ago (edited)

Dig these visuals.
Something is surely off about our collective definition of earth. Hard to say exactly what that is though.
Richard Byrd's south pole flyover report is very interesting. Also Robert Schoch's research on the Sphinx is extremely interesting regarding humanity's timeline. Add Göbekli Tepe and a few books taken out of the Bible during the Canonization and boy do we have a conversation ;-)
Book of Enoch, you full of some interesting stuff.
Cheers!

...Huh? Did you read the article? I'm not in that camp.

I consider all of that to be fabricated nonsense though.

Yes, interesting read.
I agree apologists often fall short in seemingly obvious ways, and it is awkward to watch.
Was just adding that something feels very off overall to me, and that Göbekli Tepe and the books taken out of the Bible were interesting curveballs for me.
Didn't mean to be pushy with the "surely."
Cheers regardless of camp.
Dig the topics.

For sure. Sorry if I came off as defensive, it's a habit I picked up arguing with apologists for so long. My tendency now is to assume when people say that sort of thing they are trying to get a foot in the door.

Haha. You're good, man. Appreciate the word.
Text is often missing that tonal and facial umph on communication. Plus these topics can attract some trouble seekers. Imma use "surely" less.
