I agree apologists often fall short in seemingly obvious ways, and it is awkward to watch.
Was just adding that something feels very off overall to me, and that Göbekli Tepe and the books taken out of the Bible were interesting curveballs for me.

For sure. Sorry if I came off as defensive, it's a habit I picked up arguing with apologists for so long. My tendency now is to assume when people say that sort of thing they are trying to get a foot in the door.
