Silver and the Bible

In the language of Hebrew, the word money has a double meaning. Kesef is the actual word for money and for silver in Hebrew. Remember the story in the Old Testament about Jacob and his 12 sons? 10 of the sons decided to kill their brother Joseph because they were jealous of fathers special love for him. After deciding to sell Joseph to some Egyptian slave traders they came up with a plan. They took Josephs coat of many colors and dipped it in sheep blood. When they returned home they lied to their father Jacob and told him Joseph was killed by a wild beast. Joseph was in agony because of his love for Joseph. Years later Joseph became 2nd in charge of all of Egypt. At that time God had warned Joseph that famine was going to come upon all the land in Egypt and surrounding countries. Jacob was having a difficult time during the days of famine. After awhile Jacob and his family were just about out of food. Jacob then told 10 of his sons to go to Egypt and buy some grain that they might live. The money he referred to was SILVER. In the long run it was the SILVER and Gods leading that led his sons to Egypt. The story ends wonderfully when Jacob and Joseph are reunited. Silver is the money of the Bible.
Genesis 42:25 "Then Joseph gave orders to fill their bags with grain, to put back each man's silver into his own sack, and to give them provisions for their trip, and it was done. 26 They loaded their grain onto their donkeys, and they set out. 27 When they stopped to spend the night, one of them opened his sack to feed his donkey, and he saw his silver at the top of his sack. 28 He said to his brothers, "My silver's been returned. It's right here in my sack." Their hearts stopped. Terrified, they said to each other, "What has God done to us?" 29 When they got back to their father Jacob in the land of Canaan, they described to him everything that had happened to them:".
My suggestion is to store away real money in the form of SILVER. Let us look to the past to see what the future holds.
