BIBLE STORIES # 33 - How Jesus searched for disciples
Now it's time for Jesus to do what God sent Him for, so He started looking for disciples.
Passing along the shore of Lake Galilee, He saw two fishermen brothers, Simon and Andrew, They were fishing. Jesus called them, and they, leaving their nets, followed Him. After He noticed two more brothers, James and John, and he also called for him. The next day He found Philip, and he also took his friend Nathanael.
Jesus walked through the villages and called for those whom he wanted. So He found many disciples, and of them chose the twelve closest.
Jesus went to the Temple and the prayer houses of the Jews - the synagogue and taught people there. He said that God's Kingdom is now very close, therefore one must sincerely repent of his sins and return to God.
Jesus was often brought sick, brought paralyzed, and when He touched the patient, he recovered. They began to talk about Jesus everywhere, and crowds of people were following Him.
