तब उस अनुभवी सन्त ने कहा कि आप सब डण्डा क्यों पीट
रहे हैं। तब महन्त ने कहा कि हम सब डण्डा पंथी है । भोजन के
समय पिटे तो दुनियां के सब दण्डे मिटे । अनुभवी सन्त ने सोचा कि
हो न हो उनके यहाँ कोई अन्धा साधू हुआ है उसे कभी बिल्ली कुत्ते
के सताने से उसने डण्डा पीटा होगा।
तब अनुभवी सन्त ने कहा कि तुम्हारे कोई अन्धे सूरदास हुए
हैं। तो उस महन्त ने कहा कि हा शुरू में उन्होंने ही यह डण्डा शुरू
किया। अनुभवी सन्त ने कहा कि अब वे तो अन्धे थे, तुम कौन से
अन्धे हो, तुम क्यों डण्डे पीटते हो इस प्रकार सत्य ज्ञान देकर उस सच्चे
सन्त ने डण्डा पथ समाप्त किया।
