Is Shadow going to be like Monero for social networks?
Project Shadow
Shadow is a new platform focused on being a "secure" social network. Yes on the blockchain our info is decentralized, but it is not private.
But that's not always a bad thing..
Obviously it is nice to see what the whales are up to, and on a site like Steemit we come for full decentralization and transparency.. So obviously there could be a need for both@
Shadow also uses their own currency called ShadowCash which is built to be
-Fast
-Efficient
-Flexible
"Offering trustless decentralization, double spend prevention, and unforgeability."
So for now just like Reddit, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram..
We will see these become replaced by platforms like Steemit, Yours, Synereo, LBRY, and now Shadow!

Decentralize Everything is what I say. No one should be telling anyone what they CAN do and what they CANNOT do. Iit is a third world kind-a-way of living.
I can really seeing this kind of thing leading to a post ad society. They won't disappear but they won't be a core part of platforms because of decentralisation.
Hmm, bit concerning, am i missing something - Looks like development might have stalled? Last update on their github in the shadow repo was 26 days ago. I would avoid investing anything until you can at least see the project is progressing.
