Cryptocurrency: From being traded to being used.
Being Traded vs. Being Used
STEEM is a good example of a cryptocurrency that is being used, but it also is being treated like all of the other altcoins being traded on the exchanges.
Steem Power however cannot be traded (Unless you power it down to STEEM) but it does actually has value. We are able to curate more and even earn more by having more!
So obviously this is a good example of a cryptocurrency that is worth more than just a "pump and dump".
Now it seems like no matter what coin or project comes it.. They all still get pumped and dumped!
But what happens when people that are not traders start buying crypto for various reasons?
There are a lot of great projects in the crypto-world right now that have real life use.
I can only imagine what it will look like when all of these projects get out of Beta and millions start pouring in..
Just imagine what happend last summer when payouts were really high on Steemit, and everyone wanted to Power Up.
All in all I think that we are all here because we are trying to build something great, and I feel that way about all of the great crypto projects and communities!

Great post - I can only see Steemit growing exponentially - to think it's still in Beta as well.
I still think that the best course of action is to recruit groups from other social media sites (mainly Reddit) to increase the user base and grow the site.
Steem Power is not a different currency than Steem. It's just a different way of keeping Steem. If you give me your Bitcoins and whenever you request it I give it back to you in 12 weeks then it's just like Steem power. However, coins needs exchanges to be available to users and gain value. If they didn't needed they could just continue their way after ICO and sell their coins in their own website but they just don't do it for a reason.
