out there are many lesser known projects with small caps (market capitalization) which sunk like sea anchors after the Altcoin crash together with Bitcoin. These Altcoins look still relatively weak compared to the rebound of BTC. I wanna dive with my submarine to look for such potential treasures.

First, Andy Tian the CEO of Gifto is also the founder for the asian video streaming platform Uplive together with AIG where Gifto is integrated already. Development is currently directed to the huge asian markets and Uplive is growing fast!

Uplive has now over 25 million users and 60,000 broadcasters and content creators and most important it is focused on mobile devices! With that in mind what role plays Gifto in here with it's 1 minute sellout ICO for $30 million in December 2017?
Because Uplive uses no advertising they use virtual gifts instead. You can think for example of a animated picture (*.gif) of a muscle packed hero who demonstrates his strength because someone liked your story about climbing the Himalaya mountains or a broadcaster made a video where he hands over a golden spoon with some magical twinkle star effects and gives that as gift to you for your nice receipt. People also using AR (augmented reality) effects like wearing virtual bunny ears and distribute their funny video gifts. That means users exchange gifts instead of just money and make the exchange of value very personal. Just like the flying unicorn below
Ok, but is that a working business model where i can invest in? First let's look at the numbers in coinmarketcap.com
Rank 189, market cap is quite low with about $61 million and a circulation of about 158 million GTO token.
Giftos alltime high was at $1 and crashed to $0.17. Currently we see a price of $0.38. Compared to the ICO price of $0.10 is this near 4-fold increase which was a good deal for all early investors. I didn't know about Gifto at the time.
Currently it's drifting sideways like many other coins.

Currently there is already serious business behind Uplive with $100 million of revenue (2017). Combined with organic growth of the platform and the overall market growth the demand for virtual gifts should grow fast and with that.. Gifto!
Great plans, great execution?
It seems that Gifto does many things right. It cares about designing the virtual gifts which is very important to get the emotional and viral support by broadcasters and user at the same time. A beta should launch soon and the first alpha tests are done with important advices from users. It shows the planned integration into Facebook and Youtube.
A lot of buzz was around with the The Forever Rose campaign on Valentines Day recently. Obviously they make great marketing and i think Gifto could grow strong in 2018 with a fluent integration in Uplive and other well know platforms. In my opinion it could be soon >$1 but that needs a fully functional integration in Uplive in the first step.

Well @onetin84 according to me gifto did found a niche where people can send virtual gifts. And as you said that they might integrate it with Facebook and YouTube that might be an additional bonus point for getting a lot of users. If they work as hard as they are doing i think they can soon reach on the path to success.

it's about the huge asian markets. If a product gets viral and Gifto in my opinion has a good chance then it could be a huge success at least for a few years.
