These are a wonderful analysys of these. I appreciate the Peerplays helping the Venezualians. Been thre, and its really quite a horrible chnage for that country

Yes it is...this is what happens when governments steal and redistribute wealth.

This was a good hangout. Conversation was still going when i had to go to bed 5 hours later!! Love the new graphic :)

It is kind of why I was a bit behind in posting this time (that and having my son crawl all over me while I was working on it) :P

Your kindness is appreciated man. I plan on putting the top upvoted projects' and guests' logos in the word bubbles from now on as a small added bonus for their consistent efforts to stay upvoted and transparent. :)

Thanks @officialfuzzy for hosting episode 168, I really appreciated getting the opportunity to talk about #Gridcoin and my Project Rain concept.

My RSVP for this episode.

Sneak peek at the Project Rain logo:
Project Rain

I'll hopefully be launching the 'Project Rain' BOINC project within the next week or two, it'll support BTS/GRC/STEEM/NXT/Ethereum (might add some more).

Created a post regarding your idea for increasing Bitshares liquidity via an BOINC project.

Go Gridcoin! :D

i very much look forward to hearing more :)

Sweet thanks appreciate it.

I love you. Thanks!

btw, i fixed it above :)

Over 60 rep you auto get up voted.
Than read after when have more time to enjoy the post. Keep it up Mr. Fuzz never fails me great content.

Well I do appreciate that you will check it out (though I hope you will consider doing so BEFORE upvoting!)

You kind of got lucky on this one because we have been doing these things forever and are considered one of the projects that has a long history which led to Steem today and many more to come no doubt!

Still though, the people who participate in these hangouts bring gold frequently...

Excellent host and commentary from Mr. Fuzz on this, another edition of the BitShares podcasts. I've started re-listening to many of the old broadcasts and gained so many additional insights. The host and commentators have been real gentlemen. Cheers to you all.

Yes....you are so smart man. It is essentially a historical archive of everything leading up to where we stand today... ;)

Many more I love and of course I read and will continue to read your posts. Would like to listen to more thanks for putting it out there. I signed up for the ledger wallet for bit shares I am going to look more into them. Was holding lisk but now I don't know. Thanks again.

I am for sure adding you in my book. :) have my first chapter up I love it.

You really did an awesome research quest Fuzzy :) Good job!

Heck no Dan is a smart fella I know steem and Steemit are the tip of the iceberg! No stopping this platform his blockchains are Amazing and can't wait for more inovative ways Dan brings to the table. Bitshares will for sure be getting more traction. I am glad I did fall for this gold mine!!! The information is really going to be good and I am glad I found it. I am sill studying the ins and outs. The decentralized exchange is by far one of my favorites.

man i am not going to lie...you should join our hangouts and ask as many questions about bitshares as you can.

It literally has been so underrated for so long (and often misrepresented by CryptoMedia in general) that it actually took STEEM to bring people to it--indirectly I might add (many people in crypto don't even know what bitshares is). But just think...#bitshares has the following:

  1. Separations of Power BUILT IN (yeh...you heard me---no other blockchain has this)
  2. 3 sec (theoretically could go to 1.5ish) tx times
  3. the potential to scale to accommodate well over 100k tx per second (so combine Visa, Mastercard and American Express)
  4. the flexibility of the codebase to customize blockchains (like steem)
  5. worker proposal system to pay for its own development and let token holders vote for said proposals
  6. Smartcoins that can essentially turn any commodity, stock, currency or basket thereof into a blockchain secured value storage instrument based on the world's FIRST #blockchain prediction market--and yes it really is the 1st (like I said before many people are misinformed or don't even know about bitshares).
  7. the abililty to be customized to be as decentralized as possible or as centralized as possible (for any use case requiring a blockchain)
  8. and finally drumroll please! it is its own decentralized exchange where all other Decentralized Autonomous Corporations (DACs) can be traded.

So let me ask you..do you think steem will be the last blockchain mr larimer builds? Do you think BTS is going to get more volume when steem and things like #peerplays begin getting traded? Someday you will be able to trade an oz of crypto gold (backed by 200% collateral) for your favorite cryptocurrency...

Yeh man you kind of ran into a goldmine of information on here. If you like digging through this stuff you will foam at the mouth. :D

Here is a video to whet your lips:

Did you know Lisk is built on BitShares 1.0 tech? Not saying that is a terrible thing of course...because it is written in a different language (javascript) that is more likely to have a large number of developers than C++. However, C++ coders are coding at a lower level closer to the machine language and so can be faster and more efficient.

Lisk's tech is ok, but I know little else about them. I will however, say that BitShares 2.0 (based on the Graphene toolkit)...is a completely different story. It is so absolutely amazing its potential and can scale to industrial transaction volumes (as steem has proven).

So is steem also built on bitshares platform? Yea JavaScript is easer for us humans to understand took some classes in Fullsail , but yea machine code C++ is much faster and more efficent, Now you got me researching all this great code, good thing its Saturday and my insomnia is kicking in. By tomorrow morning I will be able to comment more technical comments knowing the fact I researched into it. Damn this is going to be a great end of the year for crypto.

Excellent analysis. Thx!

You are welcome...but my nose thinks it smells a robot so I can't in good conscience upvote :/

Edit: This is a quick thank you for your comment and an apology. Now that I have gone onto your page I can see you are indeed a real person. I am still not certain what you mean by the "analysis" though. Can you tell me?

very a real person)) but not so fluent in English/ hence such laconic.
...@tlarsen2080 top comments also called "wonderful analysys" of your work. You did not ask what he mean by the "analysis" though)))
Thank you for upvote!

Thanx for the airtime fuzzy :)

Some minor changes please:
"KenCode (CTO) and Rodrigo (CMO) of BlockPay BlockPay Targets Venezualan citizens to help them remain resilient while safely storing and transferring their value during their difficult economic times. Robrigo digs into BlockPay's Affiliate program!"

...should say:
Rodrigo (CMO) and Ken (Dev) of BlockPay helping Venezuelan citizens to remain resilient while safely storing and transferring their value during difficult economic times. Rodrigo digs into the BlockPay Ambassador Program!

changed for you. sorry about the wrong words. you get an upvote for helping me improve accuracy and anything else you point out. steem makes it possible for me to pay people who point out where i can improve the post!??? why wouldnt I reward it?? ;)

Hi! thank)))

Of course! First ad foremos it has been a work of passion. Steem has helped funding though....
