Some nice summarize of Dims FUD and conclusions what we can learn from it. His talks are actually pretty strange as someone in his position shall be aware that price is always made by the market, but he talks like its normally set by some instance. Might be time to replace him...
Good point! Whether it's hype, but if a meanwhile long term development since 2009 builds up more and more market capitalization than it's obvious it is not something completely stupid. In this case if whole governments legalize it and allow it as legal currency then the statements are really stupid and it would be even more stupid if the hearing crowd follows such entertainment by a bankster who is responsible for the most fraudulent things a bank can do with money of his customers. The reality for me is, his organization is something to powerful to fall.. at the moment.. let's wait. His iteration of the point with governments is reality i know.. but it's not easy to completely hinder someone to use a decentralized thing without a central authority, computer, building or something.. i would laugh if his daughter will buy even more Bitcoin. IMF's Lagarde know to good which disruptive developments are ahead, which Jamie cannot talk out of existence. Bitcoin is gathering speed and is just the leader of the crypto market at the moment.
I agree 100% with you, it's ridiculous if a person like him make such statements in the public! Someone could doubt on his education.. but for me it's just a conscious game he plays, like a comedian with a clear purpose who places precisely his punch lines.
