I'd say your prediction went wrong due to the holiday break. Most teams never come back playing the same after this winter break. And some of them, weirdly never even recover and start to play bad. I don't know if in your country is the same thing, but here it is usuall to talk about the Winter Champion lol. Even teams that fight against relegation, take it as a huge deal, if they finish the first half of the season in the middle of the table.
