English Premier League Prediction - Bournemouth vs Tottenham
After learning a valuable lesson in the Champions League midweek, Spurs travel to Bournemouth to take on a side that boasts wins against Chelsea and Arsenal this year.
Mauricio Pochettino will be reeling after a two of his countrymen dumbed his charges out of the Champions League this season, and now must face a tricky tie against Bournemouth who sit 12th in the Premier League.
After Liverpool's loss to Manchester United last night, Spurs can end the weekend on a high, by moving themselves into third on the Barclay's Premier League Ladder with a win tonight. Juventus ended a 17 game unbeaten streak in all competitions for Pochettino's men, and Bournemouth will do well to leverage off their failure and push themselves into the top ten on the table by the end of the night.
While Tottenham beat Bournemouth 1-0 last time the pair met in the EPL, a perhaps weary Spurs may leave enough of a door open for the Cherries to have a nibble. I am by no means backing Bournemouth for the win, but they do warrant respect at Dean Park tonight.
The Prediction
While we all know the scoring capabilities of Tottenham, perhaps it will pay to look at Bournemouth's form of late. Despite the Cherries conceding far too often, they have managed to find the net in 9 of their last 10 games in all competitions and both teams to score at odds of $1.72 is the prediction tonight.
