Starting today, I'm introducing a new type of bet in addition to my regular four daily bets. These bets will not be posted regularly, but from time to time. They'll have one thing in common - an extremely high odds.
Now, let's see what is the first dark horse bet.
Wigan had two defeats in the two last games and they are hosting one of the best football teams in the world. On the other hand Manchester City are dispatching teams left and right, seemingly without breaking a sweat. So why would anyone in his right mind place a bet on Wigan to win?
Good question.
And the answer is simple, for a team that has a habit of beating Manchester City in the FA Cup games, Wigan is massively underrated by the bookies. With Ladbrokes, Coral and BetVictor offering 23.00 (22/1) for the home win and SkyBet, Ladbrokes and Coral offering 41.00 (40/1) for Wigan to win and the both teams to score, I will place this bet.
