#betterdlive - My Dlive experience and the future!
Good morning to you all,
Today I decided to give some feedback on Dlive. Based on a post they request for some experiences.
The following questions I want to answer":
How do you decide a stream is good or not?
What do you think about DLive and how can DLive improve?”
How do you decide a stream is good or not?
Like always my first decision is the header and the tumbnail.
This is the first decision. A header what is saying what is streamed and a decent picture.
After that decision and when I am viewing I want to have a good connection with the title and thumbnail. I don't like when I am seeing other things then what is announced. I also like lice commentary when they are playing a game as long as it will not be any very rude languages.
What do you think about DLive and how can DLive improve?
I started my first live streams yesterday see here
As Dlive is new I think you do a wonderful job. Off course things can be better, but even I managed to make a live stream. Some things what can make things easier.
- Is it possible to create some sort of file which you can download and what you can open with OBS studio so that all connection details are filled in automatically? I think this part is difficult for "normal"users.
- Option to add 2 tumbnails in the post.
- Option to have a chat oytside the blockchain but visible in the dlive website. For example if you type "!this is a test"then it will stay only on dlive.
- Option to have a voice chat with viewers
Why I started?
I love the Steem blockchain and would like to test all new features to see if it is a winner.
This one I will keep using for sure. I like playing retro games. When I was young I had a commodore Amiga. I ordered some usb to 9pin adapter some weeks ago and now I am able to play old retro games.
I want users to send in a game they want to see and that I can start it on demand. Yesterday I already played my first game someone requested.
In the future I want to extend it also with voice.
I don't understand how and when the Dlive team sees and decide to vote for live sessions. Yesterday I was live for 2 hours but didn't get any upvote. Not that I always needs it but it will give some more attention and possible more viewers.
Thank you team for reading this.
Keep up the good work.
Regards,
Ron
