#betterdlive - Why do I use dlive?

Hello. I am using dlive systematically for some time.

I’ve noticed, that sometimes transmission are disappearing from the main page, but that’s not a main topic of this post. A big aesthetic defect is a huge overlay, which covers most of the starting page.

I’ve decided to make it a bit smaller by using „explore the element”, and here is an effect:

I’ve also noticed, that in slider we can find the most popular videos, which – as for streaming platform – does not make sense. The idea of slider is fine, but it would look much better as an addition at the downside of the page, and at the upside you could put 3 sliding menus which we know from YouTube.

This easy idea will be a good way of unification of the page and thanks to that, page will be more intuitive.

Let’s talk about chat for a while. It is good, but lagging very much and unable people, who don’t have a steemit account, to contact the streamer. Add to that, when we send messages on chat, we are using Bandwidth Remaining. The best way would be to implement chat not like a form of an answer to a post, but use some kind of external way of communication, which is not based on a blockchain. It would cause, that people who don’t have the steemit account would be able to integrate with a streamer.

Next thing is to add to language filter Polish language. Please, check out how many people from Poland are comming to dlive and consider that option.

A lot of people follow many streamers. A bar with follows would make easier to find who of our followed channels is streaming right now.

It would be also useful to have an application for a phone, which would allow us to stream from phone. To be honest, as phones today are also a great electronic equipment, it is neccessarily.

Now we will think how to make transmissions better. First of all, there is something like dlivelabs.com, created by @cdhexx. This easy tool adds allerts to our streams, for example show on stream who upvoted our transmission. Page offers other accessories, like show the chat, follow notifications or follow counter. This project is still in a development phase, but it is going in a good way.

Next thing is an overlay. That is nothing more than a visual graphic, that we set in OBS, which gives us a possibility to split window of our stream. For example I am using this one:

I think about creating a complete recording studio, which will allow me to work in a comfort and an adequate soundproofing, as nobody likes the unnecessary noises and sounds from the outside. Below you can see a project of that.

Why I have decided to start using dlive?
The answer is very easy. Because I can finally earn money on what I like to do and nobody is censoring me here. I want to play a game – I am doing it. I want to do a porn show – I can also do that. There are a lot of streaming platforms, but most of them ban people from doing many, many things. They can ban people for a trifle. On dlive there is not anything like that. Here people decide who should be rewarded for his job, when they are not losing anything themselves.

At the end, dlive.io is an awesome platform, but creators need to do much work to finish this awesome project. When they will solve problems, I think dlive is going to be a great alternative for platforms like Twitch or YouTube.
