Better DLive Survey

Hey Dlive and Dlivers!

I have been on Dlive only about 11 days so far but I am loving it. I think that it is great that I can show the world what games I play. I play the usual suspects like CSGO and PUBG but my favorite is to show my followers other games they might not have heard of. For example I have played Darkest Dungeon, Endless Space 2, Slime Rancher, Alien Isolation and Rimworld.

These are some fantastic games that I want to show to people. I would love to hear from Dlivers and hear what games they want to be streamed. I am open to new ideas!

I now stream everyday and haven't encountered any crippling bugs or issues. I do wish there was a bigger user base but Dlive is still very new and will grow fast as it is a great service. I also wish that my Dlive Stream would remain on the home page for longer than an hour or so but I understand that not everyone can stay on the front page at the same time. I can work on this myself by increasing my followers and notify them when I am streaming.

There is no perfect Dlive stream including my own but I am always trying out new things to improve my experience for the user. For example I just got a new microphone that I hope to use on my next Dlive stream.

When I watch a stream there are certain attributes that stand out to me if the stream is good or not:

• Does the Stream have a unique thumbnail? Did the Dliver put some effort in creating it? Here are a few example of mine.

• How is the audio? Can you hear the Dliver well? Is the game too loud or can you hear the Dliver breathing too much. Audio can easily cause your followers to leave early as they become annoyed.

• How is the performance of the stream? Is the game choppy? Is there lag? Maybe it's time to get a new PC or have better internet. Its hard to watch a stream when it is jumping around.

• Is the Dliver interacting with their viewers? Does the Dliver recognize when they get a upvote or a comment?
  Interact with your viewers!

• Is the Dliver using overlays? While their can be too much overlay so that you cannot see the game. Their is a sweet spot so you are giving infomration to the viewer. Try integrating a border around your camera window and add a follower count and a upvote counter. Viewers will enjoy it.

• Finally is the Dliver having fun? If he or she is enjoying the game and so will the viewer. No one wants to watch someone who is always mad or not having a good time.
