Nope, the only time I ever did try reaching out to him was when I asked for removing his vote on a plagiarized post. Think it was because he was on trail? anyway, never the type to try and reach out to bigger players, if they notice our works and believe in its value then it's all good.
Well, I am just giving a piece of advice that would help your benefactors. No harm in reaching out, especially if we do it to help promising budding minnows. Best of luck!
