One of my favorite shots from the Tall Ship Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

    So many sails and sheets to manage! That guy up on the boom (or whatever you call a boom on a square-sailed ship - a yard?) has balls of steel.

    Amazing what was in a day's work for 19th century sailors.
